Energy Saving Programmable Vent Now Available From Springfield
Springfield has developed a new energy saving device called the Vent-Miser. The Vent-Miser is a unique and revolutionary product which will save a home owner up to 33% of their home heating and cooling costs. This new vent with built in programmable timer can be set to automatically close in rooms that are typically unoccupied at different times of the day or night such as children’s rooms when they are at school, finished basements, family rooms or a home office at night.
When the vent is closed it reduces the amount of space that is heated or cooled and forces the air into other parts of the home where the warm or cool air is needed which saves money.
The Vent-Miser is not a thermostat. It runs independent of a home heating and cooling system and is powered by 2 AAA batteries. The built in timer is easy to program and can be set to open and close up to 2 times per day, 7 days per week.
